Two Gotham Movies
It’s rare as a shooting star for screenwriters to have their scripts turned into movies produced by major studios. And yet… this fall two Gotham Screenwriting teachers will see this dream come true.
The Cold Light of Day written by Gotham teacher
John Petro, in collaboration with Scott Wiper, is a fast-paced thriller about a young man forced into action when his family is kidnapped while on a sailing trip. The movie stars Henry Cavill, Bruce Willis, and Sigourney Weaver. It debuts in the U.S. on September 7, and you can check it out

Wreck-It Ralph written by Gotham teacher
Jennifer Lee, in collaboration with Phil Johnson, is a Disney computer animated comedy about a video game “bad guy” who longs to be a good guy. The movie features the voices of John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, and Jane Lynch. It debuts in the U.S. on November 2, and you can check it out
